your build might be useful. might want to drop the sup rune for a minor or major for now since you're only lv 7. that's taking a big chunk out of your current health . ..

Your total health is much too low.
Remove the Superior Scythe Mastery and replace it with a Major (or even a minor - see below). The -75 health is too big a loss at this point. The Major Mysticism also has a -35 health penalty. Either replace it with a minor, or use a Minor Scythe Mastery instead of a Major (so that you have only 1 major rune and the rest are minors) You have no Insignias on your armor. Some Survivor's would help to boost your total health. If you can't afford Survivors, that's one more reason the go to a Minor Scythe Mastery. Get a Major Vigor as soon as you can, and don't forget to identify colored armor drops for usable Runes and Insignias. Is 25AL armor the best AL you can get at this point? Whereabouts in the game are you? P.s. If your "pro" told you to use those Runes, he must have forgotten that you are not level20 yet or..... Edit: Looking at the prices of Dervish Runes, don't bother to remove the Superior Scythe Mastery or Major Mysticism - they aren't worth enough (25 or 35g to trader) - just overwrite them. Also, a Minor Mysticism is cheaper than a minor scythe, so I would recommend Major Scythe and Minor Mysticism. Last edited by Quaker; Jan 03, 2010 at 04:50 PM // 16:50.. |

There are a few dervish spells that can add armour and health regen to help you survive the fights too. It will help early in the game until you can better upgrade your monk hero or get access to better monk hench.

And again, as I asked in the other thread, Could you please post your build? The attribute spread is along 3 attributes, so I'd like to see what you go there on your bar. And remove Major and Superior runes, and replace them with Minors until you get better equipped, lvl 20, better build, better heroes, then you can use superior if you like, but only 1, as health is important.

The person who gave you those suggestions either didn't know you were not yet lvl 20 or meant you to use those when you hit lvl 20. 75hp+35hp health loss at lvl 7 is not the same as at lvl20. If you can afford it, get a ferry to docks and buy max armor. Anyway, I agree with Quaker on sup/major runes and survivor insignias. Also, depending on your build, you should probably be able to get 9 points in scythe mastery - in this case get a max r9 scythe so you can add +30hp there too.
EDIT: never mind about the scythe, thought you were posting your attributes without the runes. Last edited by Yasmine; Jan 03, 2010 at 05:28 PM // 17:28.. |

Considering that you are only level 7 and have a major and superior rune and have only 25AL, this would be why you die so frequently. You are taking off 110HP from the 275HP you have, bringing you down to 165HP. You take a few hits and drop, especially when fighting higher level enemies.

Ok like most people already said: Your life is too low. 3 reasons: Your low level (which is normal ), sup scythe mast. rune, major mysticm rune. Those 2 drain your life.
Also I don't know who your "pro" friend is, but I tend to suggest new players not to go dervish. Dervish can be quite strong when used right. New people rarely use them right. A warrior has 80AL armor and a dervish 70AL. Others with 70AL (paragon and ranger) are backliners. You are a frontline with lower armor, so you get targeted quickly by enemies. Try to look at the situation on your radar next time, and try to engage not too many enemies. Also consider running out of too many enemies sometimes. Also you could bring some armor/healing skills with you. At last if you have died a few times, your life gets less because of death penalty. If you die too often, you life will be very low, causing you to die even quicker again. Because of your low life, they target you again as prime target and kill you again etc. That could be a reason why you get killed/attacked more often then other party members. Try to be not too reckless. Good luck! |

1) Health is WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY too low.
2) Armor is average, but for that health at level 7 is too low. Get better armor as soon as you can. At level 7 you 'should' have access to Jokanur Diggings and 40AL armor. 3) Insignias! Either you have none or you failed to mention them. They can make a BIG difference. Survivor will boost your health, but you can also go with Blessed or Windwalker for more armor. 4) Build - this may be fine, but we don't know yet. If your build has good skills then it can make a big difference in keeping you alive. 5) PLAYSTYLE!!! Running in before your team is ready, not targeting correctly, being too far from healers, etc. will all make you die fast. Make sure you are playing intelligently and using your team effectively. |

You're only level 7 and you are using a superior rune. Don't do this.
Also Dervishes die a lot because they are Dervishes. |

Well there's your problem m8. Get a run to the Consulate Docks where you can get max armor.(Cost about 500gl for a run, get it from Kamadan) Get the Major Vigor rune [+41 health] (get superior when u can afford it) Then if u have EotN (Eye of the North) get to lvl 10 whichever way u can, enter eotn, and ask for a run to Gunners Hold. There is a quest there given by Kilroy. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Kilroy_Stonekin Kilroy Stonekin's Punch-Out Extravaganza! is the one you want. It is repeatable and with experience scrolls, u can get to lvl 20 in an hour or less. I believe u have to do 2 other quests. They're simple and can be done easily.
